Demography and well-being

Demography studies the characteristics of populations. One such characteristic is well-being: this was subject 2019 Wittgenstein Conference. Here, I discuss how objective well-being domains can be summarised to produce an overall score, and taking self-reported (subjective) into account may help in effort. But given that there more than one type subjective we would want know which “best”. We also need decide whose counts, or counts others. Finally, briefly mention potential role adaptation social comparisons calculation societal well-being.
